Billy Swanson is the proud pastor of New Founder's Missionary Baptist Church. Billy Swanson was born and raised in the San Francisco California Bay area. He attended University of California at Berkeley in Berkeley, California. Billy also attended and graduated with a bachelor's degree from Jarvis Christian University in Hawkins, Texas. While a student at JCU Billy served as both Student Government Chaplain and the President of Student Ministers Association for three years. Billy also served for two years as the 1st Pastor Assistant to the designated JCU Campus Pastor. Billy is currently working towards finishing his master's degree in biblical studies at Baptist Missionary Theological Seminary in Jacksonville, Texas. Billy was first commissioned to preach at age 9 through Center of Hope Church in Oakland California.

As a postgraduate, Billy received his Ministerial License from Lonestar Baptist Church in Larue, Texas under the leadership of Reverend Howard Thomas. Later, Billy received his Pastoral Ordination from Greater Rock Baptist Church in Dallas Texas under the leadership of Reverend Rush Ingram where he served as Assistant Pastor. Billy earned a post graduate license as a Life Coach from the Covey Institute. Billy has been in ministry for over 30 years and have ministered and conducted seminars, conferences and revivals in various churches and venues around the United States. Billy has been a part of Global Missions for over 10 years and have ministered outside the United States on several occasions. Billy has been married to Latosha Swanson for 21 years, together they have five children. Billy first pastorate was at Questlife Central Fellowship where he pastored for 10 years. Billy have authored two books: "Killing Leviathan" and "PowerChoice". Billy Swanson envisions a spiritually prosperous future for New Founders Baptist Church as its new pastor.
